We had a wonderful time visiting Shalini and her family in Jaipur. From walking into her neighbourhood and seeing all the children play, we were invited into her home where she lives with her husband, in-laws and 2 children. We enjoyed chatting with Shalini’s family while we all ate at the dining table. We left with full stomachs, new friends and wonderful memories.
Our host, Margarita, was incredible. Her home is lovely; she is knowledgeable, organized, and had all 3 of us participating in many aspects of preparing our multi course meal. Started out in a local market with many stalls offering a variety of local fresh ingredients. There is not enough room to describe this amazing experience, I cannot recommend Margarita more highly.
I wanted to thank you again - my boyfriend and I were really happy to cook with you. It was one of our favorite experiences in Japan! In Lausanne there is a really good Japanese shop where I could find the basic ingredients, some gyoza pasta and nira. I tried to cook some gyozas as your recipe but with chicken. It was absolutely delicious!
You have to eat the bean stew," Amal's father Amin told me. "After all, they are picked from what is YOUR garden now," he said. After picking me up in Beirut, driving up in the hills above the city, showing me around the wonderful vegetable garden, Amal and her mother showed me how to make the kibbeh paste, how to hollow out the ball of paste...Most of all, I will always remember the generosity and warmth of the people, that from now on is my new Aramoun family!
Thank you Laura for a Fabulous time today. Laura was a wonderful host, a lot of fun, and I learned a lot. Everything we made was delicious. Best experience of my whole vacation!
On my first day in Tbilisi, I had an amazing cooking experience and introduction to Georgian cuisine. The food was prepared with love and there was plenty of food. I enjoyed spending time with Teona and her siblings in their beautiful charming kitchen. I highly recommend this experience.
