Your host Suzie
A Valencia native, Suzie is passionate about the food and drink of Spain and is excited to share with travelers the local and hidden culinary gems of her city. Get an introduction to a few of the quintessential local beverages of Spain before you learn to make sangria, one of the most popular Spanish alcoholic beverages and agua de Valencia, Suzie's personal favorite and the drink of choice by locals. Valencia is, after all, known for its oranges so this Spanish cocktail is made from fresh squeezed orange juice and is a staple at most bars and restaurants. You will also put together tinto de verano, a simple go-to drink of Valencians. The goal of this Spanish online drinks class is to have a great time imbibing and chatting as a local Valencian would.
