WHAT WILL YOU COOK TOGETHER:
  • Homemade tagliatelle with a simple ragu (sauce)
  • Panna cotta
INGREDIENTS:
  • 300 g (2 1⁄4 cups) flour (or 150 g regular flour + 150 g semolina flour)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb (500 gr) ground beef (or half beef and half pork)
  • 1 sausage, casings removed
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 4 cups (1 liter) vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 rib of celery
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup (250 g) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) whole milk
  • 1 envelope gelatin (you may use less than a full packet)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3/8 cup (80 g) icing sugar (also called powdered or confectioners sugar)
  • Handful of fresh berries or chocolate bar to melt (optional topping)
