Your host Sally
Sally is an architect and a food photographer, who is also passionate about food styling and cooking. She is excited to share her Iraqi heritage with travelers, through this cooking class. Sally learned to cook Iraqi dishes from her mother while growing up. She considers herself a global nomad, as Sally was born in Iraq and lived there until the age of 10. Later she moved to Dubai and in 2018, she moved to Melbourne. Food has been an important part of this journey, especially now since Sally misses her mother’s cooking. During the lockdown, food and food photography were two things that made Sally very happy. And being an architect, Sally says cooking for her is like an art project!
