Learn to make Sangria and Tapa in a private online class!

WHAT WILL YOU COOK TOGETHER:
  • Sangria, a Spanish alcoholic beverage of red wine, fruit and other spirits
  • Patatas bravas crispy golden potatoes topped with aioli (a creamy garlic sauce) and salsa brava (spicy red sauce)
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 bottle of young table wine (don't waste top-quality wine but don't use hangover wine either!)
  • 1 can or bottle of Fanta orange or other orange soda or club soda
  • 1 cup liquor like brandy, triple sec, vermouth or rum
  • 2 oranges, 1 chopped and 1 juiced
  • 1 lemon, chopped
  • 1 green apple, chopped
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
  • 3 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • 4 medium potatoes, chopped into 1/2" cubes
  • 1-2 cups olive oil for frying
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • ⅔ – ¾ cup olive oil
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp pimentón picante (hot smoked paprika) or cayenne peper
  • 1½ tbsp pimentón dulce (sweet smoked paprika) or regular paprika
  • 1–2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth for a vegetarian version)
  • Salt to taste
