We had such a great time learning to make paella with Jose. We ate tapas, drank vermouth, had wonderful conversation and watched carefully while Jose made paella in his kitchen. He clearly loves to cook and to share his knowledge with others. I had high expectations and they were exceeded. In addition to learning how to make paella, we learned some history of Spanish food, drinks and recipes. He also provided us with a booklet with recipes for everything we (he) made. This was a great way to spend a few hours in Valencia. It was like cooking and eating at a friend's house. And I'm betting it will be the best meal you have in Valencia and probably even in Spain! Best cooking class in Barcelona! Fantastic! The experience of going through a local market, meeting the artisans, and snacking on delicious bites was great. We learned about the local culture a well as recommendations for other places to visit while in Barcelona. Stefano and Veronique were gracious hosts. The class was well laid out and very hands on, which was amazing. Couldn't have had a better time! We hope all cooking experiences can be like this one!

Suzie was all kinds of fun! She is used to offering food tours so had lots of information about local food and local food culture! If I make it to Valencia, I will look her up!

Our cooking class with Lola was amazing! She taught us so much about cooking as well as Spanish culture and we made delicious food! It was such an enjoyable evening for our family. Lots of wine was flowing and it was just a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere! Would highly recommend this class!

Best meal of our trip! Our market tour & paella cooking class with Josh was one of the highlights of our time in Barcelona. Josh did a wonderful job teaching us how to make authentic paella. Oh, and the sangria was the best I’ve had!
