This experience was so fun, informative and delicious! Suzimar was so knowledgeable, a real Renaissance woman. She does it all! We enjoyed learning how to select and prepare herbs, fruits and vegetables from the region, things that we look forward to preparing again. Our experience with Viviana in San Juan was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and especially amazing with our 6-year-old and 4-year-old. Traveling with young kids can be unpredictable, but Viviana was so patient, flexible, and adaptable throughout the entire experience, which made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable. She created such a comfortable and engaging environment for our family, and our kids genuinely had a great time. It didn’t feel like a “tour” at all—it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home and culture in the best way possible. We are so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend Viviana to anyone traveling to San Juan, especially families with young children!

Tony is an absolute delightful person that welcomed us into his home and kitchen. From the start we felt like we were with an old friend, sharing stories and cooking techniques. The food was delicious and we’re taking home memories and new recipes that will always be treasured.

Yeira was amazing! It was a 10/10 experience. This was definitely a highlight of our trip! We learned about Puerto Rican cultural dishes right in her home. She was high energy, incorporated great connecting activities, she is very knowledgeable and fun! The food was delicious and our students loved the learning experience and that it was so hands on! We had an absolutely amazing experience with Yeira! It was beyond incredible! She uses all fresh ingredients and showed us not only how to cook the recipes that we were making, but to have fun in the kitchen with each other. This is great for couples, families, or friends who are traveling together. It is all about connecting with each other through cooking. She even has a website where she shares more about that and the experiences called Cooknnecting. Everything tasted out of this world...and Yeira kept saying that we were the ones who made it! It was such a homey feel and was exactly what we were hoping for. It's a must do!
