Patrizia was born in Naples, she spent more than 25 years in Germany before moving to Liguria in 1995. A lifelong passion for cooking led her to learn traditional Ligurian recipes from local women in the villages of the Ligurian hinterland. After a successful career in tourism and hospitality, Patrizia turned her passion into a profession and now welcomes guests from around the world into her home for authentic cooking and dining experiences. She loves sharing not only the flavors of Liguria but also the stories, traditions, and culture behind every dish, creating memorable connections through food.

As you stroll through the market alongside Patrizia, learn about regional produce such as local cheese, aromatic herbs, olives, and fresh vegetables. Interact with local vendors and purchase a few ingredients that you will later use in your cooking class.
After the market visit, enjoy a leisurely walk through Parasio, the historic medieval heart of Porto Maurizio. Known for its narrow cobblestone lanes, charming architecture, and breathtaking sea views, Parasio is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Imperia. Along the way, Patrizia will share stories about the neighborhood's history, local traditions, and her life in Liguria. Your experience concludes at Patrizia's home, where you'll use the ingredients from the market during your hands-on Ligurian cooking class.
