Himanshu learned to cook from his mother and maternal grandfather from whom he inherited the family's unique recipes. Himanshu’s wife Deepti is an interior designer, and you can catch glimpses of her work around the house. Himanshu has been in the hospitality business since 2006 - he is a trained wildlife guide, an avid photographer and a national-level shooter. Himanshu and Deepti love to share their passion for Rajasthani food with travelers visiting Jaipur.
“I look forward to sharing the recipes of the food that we serve on the table because I feel that is the best way to promote our cuisine and tell the world about our cuisine.”

Learned from his mother and maternal grandfather, these recipes remain an important part of the family’s everyday hospitality.
Himanshu and Deepti serve unique Rajasthani dishes that have been in their family for generations. We had such an amazing time learning royal in-house recipes with Himanshu and Dipti. The whole family was very kind, humble and extremely hospitable and they took care of all little details to make our experience memorable. The class was hands-on and we had great time learning quick and colourful dishes like chicken kachri and safed aloo. The open cooking experience was wonderful with this lovely pet friendly family. Ingredients were different and absolutely fresh. My other favorite was eggplant masala, which was cooked in tangy tomato sauce and other Indian spices. If you want to experience the colors, flavors and food of Jaipur, this is the perfect place for you. We would highly recommend it.
