WHAT WILL YOU COOK TOGETHER:
  • Classic Costa Rican white fish ceviche
  • Picadillo de papa, a classic Costa Rican savory ground beef and potato dish
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 lb white fish like sea bass or mahi mahi
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup lime-lemon flavored soda
  • 1/2 cup red or yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 lbs potatoes
  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 2/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup red pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp achiote paste
