Her cooking is also about creating healthier choices that are delicious and unique. BA is a passionate home cook and baker, who loves trying new and healthy recipes. She is well travelled and has lived in a few cities, so she loves mixing international flavors with local, seasonal produce. Also, accommodating dietary needs is her specialty! As she is lactose-free, her son is vegetarian, and many of her friends are gluten free. So, over the years, she has perfected many of her own, unique recipes to satisfy so many deferent palates. Apart from cooking and feeding friends and family, BA is an avid cyclist and loves to be active, doing just about anything she can do outside in any season.

  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 ½ cups almond four
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons coconut (or almond) flour
  • 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs + 3 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 2/3 cups lemon juice
