More Than a Cooking Class – A Beautiful Cultural Experience
Spending an evening cooking with Kalpana in Singapore was pure magic. From the moment I stepped into her warm and fragrant kitchen, time seemed to slow down — spices toasted in the pan, laughter filled the air, and every dish told a story.
Under Kalpana’s gentle guidance, I learned to craft crispy Dosa, Arachuvitta Sambar rich with flavor, Rava Kesari glowing with saffron sweetness, and golden fried potatoes that tasted like comfort itself. We even ground our own Garam Masala by hand — the aroma was unforgettable.
When we finally sat down to share the meal with her family, it felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into a home. The food was extraordinary, but it was the warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit that truly made the evening shine.
If you want to taste the soul of South Indian cuisine right here in Singapore, spend an evening with Kalpana. It’s not just a cooking class — it’s a heartfelt journey through flavor, friendship, and home.
