Clovis is excited to virtually take you to the streets of Brazil and learn to make two delicious Pastel de Feira, stuffed Brazilian pastry dough, and a tangy vinaigrette dressing! Clovis learned how to cook traditional Brazilian food from his family when he was young. This passion for food then led him to study gastronomy at Sao Paulo's Mackenzie University. He previously owned a restaurant in the city and now cooks for select private groups in his own house. Clovis has a doctorate in toxicology and even received an award from the city of São Paulo in 2018 for his academic work about oriental regional food.

"Clovis was amazing to cook with. He was so patient with us and was willing to stay on the class with us for much longer to ensure we were able to finish the dish. It was so fun to learn about Brazilian cooking and culture, Clovis made the experience very enjoyable and informative. We would definitely take another class from him in the future!"
