"Cinzia was a great teacher. She made it easy to follow the directions and taught us about regional cooking styles as we were making the recipes. She used Zoom well, showing us the steps in the process and giving us tips on how to do things. The recipe gave measurements in grams, but we didn't have a scale so she was able to convert to cups for us. The food came out delicious, and feel like I would be able to follow the recipes again on my own in the future. It was also fun to be able to share the experience with my son who lives in California - we don't often get the chance to do things together like this."

"Cinzia was so great! We thoroughly enjoyed her class. Not only did we learn how to make past but her knowledge of the history was amazing to hear about too"

"I enjoyed my cooking class with Cinzia very much! The only thing that would have made it better would be if we were together in her kitchen instead of 5000 miles apart over Zoom. The recipes were delicious and I’ve made them again."

"Cinzia was wonderful! She took to time to explain everything in good detail and even provided some stories and tidbits of knowledge throughout the class. She was so personable and showed us around her beautiful home (well the patio and kitchen!)"

"What an incredible class! I was so nervous (homemade pasta!? Tiramisu!?) But Cinzia was amazing! She is the perfect teacher... so patient and thorough and engaging. The food was delicious! I will absolutely be taking more classes with Cinzia!"

"I made a successful bid on a private pasta cooking class for a charity auction, and my "plus one" (our teenager) and I were paired with Cinzia for the experience. She was a lovely chef and host for us. She was patient with our questions and our inept "inexperienced cook" capabilities, and while our fresh pasta was far from the best pasta we've ever had, the thrill of eating our own homemade ravioli (and panna cotta too) was pretty amazing! Not to mention, we were in the NYC area and she was in Florence, and despite that the Zoom cooking and logistics lesson worked surprisingly well. We both really enjoyed and would do it again."

She checked in on our progress, and showed everything she was doing. I would definitely recommend this to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!! :-) Thank you for a fabulous meal!"

"I loved the short experience I had working with Cinzia! There were a lot of little things she showed me that I didn’t know about. I made beef ragu and panna cotta. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend this to others! And someday I hope to come in person to Italy and learn more. "

"Our class with Cinzia was wonderful. We made fresh ravioli and panna cotta, both of which turned out very well. Cinzia gave us useful insights and methods on pasta making and explained why different approaches have different results. I've made pasta for a few years now on my own, and this definitely increased my skill level. The panna cotta was delicious as well."

"Our class with Cinzia was such a treat! Our friends had gifted us this online cooking class because we were supposed to be in Italy & had planned to take a cooking class in Florence. This was the next best thing! Cinzia was a great instructor, so friendly, and a pleasure to cook with! It was incredible how she made us feel at home in her kitchen, even though we were a world away. We weren't sure if our dishes would turn out because of the training through a screen, but Cinzia did an amazing job of coaching us and showing us how things should look before moving on to the next step. The gnocchi & mushroom dish was delicious! We had so much leftover gnocchi for the rest of the weekend & we loved every bite. And oh my gosh, the tiramisu!! It was sinfully delicious! We had also made twice the size so we were able to share it with our friends, and they were very impressed! We can't wait to travel to Italy soon and take a cooking class with Cinzia in real life! Grazie mille, Cinzia! "

"I loved taking Cinzia’s cooking class with my daughter. We made homemade tagliatelle with ragu and tiramisu. Cinzia was super sweet and nice and a good teacher. I also like cooking foods from around the world and hearing how people live and the foods they cook. Cinzia was amazing ❤️"

"Cinzia was so sweet and patient with us! It was really fun and a unique experience, and our food came out great. I never thought I’d be successful at making homemade pasta, especially not via Zoom, but I was! We can’t wait to take another class soon! This was a great gift for Mother’s Day and is highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special way to celebrate a birthday or special event :)"
Mary Lou 16 May 2020

"Cinzia was an incredible host and I had so much fun taking her class. I felt like I had a window to Italy from my kitchen in Sweden. "
Stephanie Kurzina 29 April 2020
"I loved learning to make tiramasu and ravioli online with Cinzia. She was knowledgeable, patient, and very good about answering our group's questions. Plus, everything was delicious. Online cooking class is a great way for friends in different places to have fun together and share a cultural experience as well."
Sandy Lawrence 27 April 2020
"Four girlfriends, in our own kitchens, at the same time, learned to make Tomato Ravioli and Tiramisu on Zoom last night. It was really fun. Afterwards we invited our husbands to join us to share the dinner. The Ravioli was really tasty and we were all successful in our efforts. Great way to still have fun and connection in this time of separation. Thank you Traveling Spoon. Can't wait to do another."

"We were supposed to go to Italy for 2 weeks in June so instead we took a cooking class with Cinzia. We absolutely loved it! We have 2 teen daughters and this class was a perfect family activity during quarantine. We met her daughter as well. She was flexible asking what sauce we would like for dessert. Chocolate vs Berry and we went for the berry one. As we were making the Panna Cotta, she recommended adding different flavors so we added cinnamon. Then we made a delicious mushroom sauce while the potatoes were cooling for the gnocchi. We then began the gnocchi process of mixing potatoes with flour, then forming a ball and cutting the gnocchi. The gnocchi boiled quickly and we had a delicious traditional Italian dinner at home. She told us about the cooking classes she offers with a trip to the market that we can and will take when we can finally visit her in Florence. We think it was fate that brought us to Cinzia and we are looking forward to booking another virtual class with her soon until we can visit her live in Florence. "
