Constanza is a professional chef trained at the prestigious Instituto Argentino de Gastronomía (IAG), one of Argentina’s top culinary schools. Her true passion lies in mastering the art of the Argentine asado — the country’s beloved barbecue tradition. With expert knowledge of fire, timing, and technique, your host prepares perfectly grilled meats and vegetables while sharing the cultural stories and rituals that make the asado such an essential part of Argentine life. Though she’s traveled widely and loves recreating global flavors, Constanza’s favorite meals are those that bring people together around the grill. In the beginning, I was not so sure if this experience is worth the trip to General Rodriguez, but after I arrived and met the charming hosts in their beautiful home with a lovely park, I realized that this is the correct place to experience a typical Argentinean BBQ -out of the city in the peaceful suburbs! This is surely an experience I will always remember.

My partner and I chose this specific cooking class because it covered both traditional Asado and empanada cooking. Connie and Manolo were very warm, welcoming and flexible with their time. They showed us a range of different meats, techniques and sauces and they tailored the class to our needs. This was truly a special experience and an absolute MUST DO for cooking enthusiasts. I highly recommend this class.- cathy September 10, 2026

My family had a wonderful cooking experience! Connie and her husband treated us like guests in their home. We cooked and enjoyed a traditional asado with a number of different meats and dishes. I’ve recommended Connie’s cooking experience to friends and plan to book again next time we visit Buenos Aires.- Sophie May 20, 2025
