Franco discovered his passion for cooking by watching his grandfather grill delicious barbecues for the family while growing up in Mendoza. As a child, he loved spending time in the kitchen alongside his grandmother and aunt, learning the secrets of traditional Argentine cuisine. Today, Franco is a professional chef with years of experience in various kitchens, but his true love lies in teaching others to cook. He combined his passion for cooking and teaching to open his own cooking studio, where he shares the flavors and techniques of Argentina with travelers.
Franco also enjoys traveling, and some of his best memories come from cooking and eating with locals around the world. When visiting his city, he can provide insider tips and off-the-beaten-path recommendations for an authentic Argentine experience.
"I love teaching how to cook and getting to know people from around the world, showing them how beautiful Argentina can be."

If you like the idea of learning more about Argentinean food and, actually, learning how to prepare it, Franco’s house is the right place for you! He is really passionate about what he does and enjoys it. I was glad to hear and see someone so happy with his own city and country. The osobuco was amazing; he cooked it for several hours. Everything was marvelous, each dish had its own magic and the fact that we prepared it from scratch, makes it even better.

The experience was incredible. Franco and his team were great. The group was a little bigger than I was expecting -- maybe 12 people total whereas I was expecting more like 6-8 but it wasn't a problem.- Riker, FORA Travel Advisor February 06, 2026
My group of 12 visited Franco (Pachamama) for a cooking class - we all LOVED it!!!- Amy, Travel Advisor February 05, 2026
