WHAT WILL YOU COOK TOGETHER:
  • Soutzoukakia (Greek baked meatballs)
  • Roasted Greek Eggplant with Feta
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 lb (~1/2 kg) ground (minced) beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices stale bread, soaked in water
  • 1 lb (~1/2 kg) classic baking potatoes, peeled
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes or tomato sauce
  • 2 big eggplants
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 red chili pepper, minced (or red chili flakes to taste)
  • 1 big green pepper, diced
  • 1 can (8 oz) or 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup (250 grams) Greek Feta Cheese
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

She loves meeting people from all around the world and when she travels she makes it a point to taste the local cuisine. This passion for cooking and traveling has made her a collector and she has over 100 cookbooks in her collection.
