"Before the course I was contacted by Shalini and I received a PDF with the recipes. We also had contact online and I was helped finding the correct ingredients. Everything was very well organised. Shalini speaks very good english and the cooking was a lot of fun. The instructions were given step by step and the whole experience was adjusted to my own speed and my electric cooker. We made two dishes, mixed lentils and Chana Masala. Both are delicious and can easily be cooked by a beginner. I can fully recommend this course and would book again to learn another dish and to learn more about the indian culture."

"Shalini was kind, giving, and patient with us. I think it's worth it to have a private lesson so she can really focus on what you're doing and provide immediate feedback. We got to meet her mother in law who taught her the recipe. Together, the two of them led us to doughy soft samosa glory."

"So much fun and learning at the same time. Shalini was enthusiastic and encouraging to help us make a great meal. It was great to learn different ways to make naan using a griddle and open flame!"

"This class was amazing! I got it as a gift for my daughter and her boyfriend because they love to cook, but samosas are pretty hard to do without prior experience. Shalini was very kind, helpful, clear in her instructions, and easy to understand. She also moved at their pace. Plus, the samosas were delicious! We would not hesitate to sign up for another class with Shalini"

"Shalini was a wonderful hostess! I was so proud to learn how to fold and tuck (and lock!) each of the samosas exactly how you should. They were so so yummy and tasted truly authentic."

"Absolutely loved this class! Shalini was a wonderful and organized host. I had the class time wrong and missed the class, but she was very kind and accommodating and we rescheduled the class for the following day. The curry and naan were both absolutely delicious and will definitely be making it again! I hope to take another class with Shalini in the future, and would highly recommend this class to anyone (especially vegetarians!)."

"This class was great, and lots of fun. I've wanted to explore Indian spices and cooking for some time, and Shalini was patient and clear in her instructions. I loved the whole experience, and can't wait to take more classes!"

"Shalini was very helpful and patient, and the food was excellent!"

"Shalini was very nice, willing to answer questions before, during, and after the class and customize recipes to what we wanted, and get up early to cook with us at 7am her time. It was a great experience to learn "homestyle" Indian cooking and we will make these dishes again. We took the class remotely, and Shalini had a phone mount I believe which helped us see each step she was taking so we could have a similar experience to in-person."
