We had an absolutely lovely time with Costanza and Manolo! From the minute we walked through the door their energy was contagious. Costanza and Manolo were very welcoming, comforting and knowledgeable about what makes good food. For our visit, we elected to learn how to make empanadas and do a proper asado. Constanza guided us as we made empanada de humita and Manolo walked us through the process of using the parilla. We will certainly be using what we learned from them at home. Their house is outside of the city but it's absolutely worth the commute. You'll love it!

An Asado Experience not to be Missed in Buenos Aires! Constanza & Manolo exceeded any expectation we could have ever imagined. From the moment we met them, we were instant friends. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and made us feel as though we had known each other for a long time. It was like going to a friend's home for a BBQ while learning new cuts of meat, types of wood, techniques and their cultural past time . We talked, we laughed, we ate for hours and learned how the traditional Asado was prepared and presented. The food and wine were amazing. Every course was just as good or better than the one before. The flavors were incredible. Constanza showed me how to make empanadas in the kitchen and while I was making some, Manolo was teaching Jaxon the proper way to start the parrilla with woods we are now dreaming of. We were so inspired that we have taken a new approach to the way we BBQ and the Argentine cuisine. We hope to build an Argentine parrilla in our backyard and entertain our friends with an Asado experience. Thank you so very much Constanza and Manolo, we hope to meet you again some day!

Amazing Experience in Buenos Aires. This felt like a couple that you knew at the university who got married, moved to Argentina, and you are now visiting them many years later. An evening with Constanza and Juan was the highlight of our stay in Argentina. Their house is beautiful, perfect for entertaining and experiencing an Argentine barbecue. The food was really delicious. From the picadas to the empanadas, to the different cuts of meats and vegetables cooked on the grill, everything was perfect. We had good conversation for hours while cooking on their backyard patio. The trees in the backyard provided a cool escape from the hot sun and a perfect backdrop to the evening. Constanza and Juan are two very warm and down to earth people. They provided some very helpful cooking tips as well as getting a taste of the Argentine barbecue experience. Muchas gracias Constanza y Juan por una noche maravillosa que nunca olvidaremos.

In the beginning, I was not so sure if this experience is worth the trip to General Rodriguez, but after I arrived and met the charming hosts in their beautiful home with a lovely park, I realized that this is the correct place to experience a typical Argentinean BBQ -out of the city in the peaceful suburbs! This is surely an experience I will always remember.
