Meet Camila

Camila and her mother share a deep passion for cooking and welcoming guests into their warm, elegant home in Buenos Aires. They love creating inviting gatherings, from setting a beautiful table to preparing homemade dishes that celebrate family, tradition, and seasonal ingredients. Camila is a chef from the acclaimed Mausi Sebess culinary institute and is excited to share the skills and techniques she has learned. A dedicated traveler, Camila recently spent time in Italy, where she experienced firsthand how meaningful it is to cook and connect with locals. Inspired by that experience, she now opens her own home to travelers, offering a genuine taste of Argentine cuisine, culture, and hospitality.

What to expect

Please note menu might vary. If there are particular dishes you are interested in trying, please include your request in the booking form.

In-home meal: (2-6 guests) Meet Camila and her family at their home in an exclusive country club community in Maschwitz, located about 30 km north of central Buenos Aires. This peaceful, green setting offers a relaxed escape from the busy city and a warm introduction to authentic local life. Your experience begins with a traditional picada, a selection of regional cheeses, empanadas, bruschetta and small bites to enjoy while getting to know your hosts. Then you will enjoy a home cooked meal based on the menu you choose. You can select a menu featuring homemade pasta or pizza, a menu of traditional Argentinian comfort food such as slow-cooked beef stew, or a classic Argentinian asado prepared on the grill. Depending on the weather, you may dine outdoors on the terrace with views of the garden or inside at the family dining table. Camila specializes in pastry and baked goods, so dessert will be a highlight. You may enjoy arroz con leche or rogel, a traditional cake made of many thin layers filled with dulce de leche and topped with meringue.

Cooking experience: (2-6 guests) During your cooking class, you will help Camila prepare your selected Argentine lunch menu and then learn how to make some of Argentina's most loved desserts and pastries. Dulce de leche plays an important role in Argentine sweets, and Camila will show you how it is used. You may learn to make rogel, a traditional layered cake filled with dulce de leche and topped with soft meringue, or other classic family recipes she learned in culinary school. Your class will take place in Camila's bright modern kitchen, where she will guide you step by step and share stories about Argentine food traditions, local ingredients and the techniques she has studied over the past two years. This is a relaxed, hands-on cooking experience that invites you to cook, taste and learn together.

Notes: If you choose the optional transport add-on, your host offers round-trip transfers from your Buenos Aires hotel.
